A great anthology full of stories topped to the rim with love, hate, attraction, pain. In this stories I found new authors and ones I still adore, each story brings something unique to the table. For now I will review Hate You by Logan Fox until I can type about the others because trust me you’ll want to devour each one. In Hate You we have Jude who comes from a wealthy family’s has an adorable sister, yet he hates his new stepmother and step sister. He sees the stepmother for what she truly is and that is a social climbing gold digger. Jude seems to think that Harper doesn’t fall far from her family tree and all her issues are just her being like her mother. They can’t stand each other, their back and forth fighting escalates to tricks being played, and them getting hurt. Harper has issues that she takes out on the bottle and Jude may hate her but can’t stand to see her drag herself through the mud since that’s his job. Not to give too much away because this story was intense, but after hurting each other over and over again their attraction blooms and bleeds off the pages, yet is their hatred for each other and their own lives too much to break through or are they doomed to fall into self hatred and tragic endings because they can’t let go of the hate? When things take dangerous and tragic turns can they survive it? This author is genius when it comes to creating damaged characters in twisted tales that consume the reader to the end. These tropes may not be for everyone but if you can handle the triggers (warning inside) then these authors and stories are perfect for avid dark readers and newbies alike.… (más)
