Very lengthy biography of Beethoven. Beethoven was born into a musical family in Germany--his father wanted him to follow in the footsteps of Mozart. He gave his first public concert at the age of seven.His career took off in Vienna as a pianist and composer. In his late 20's, his hearing began to worsen and by the last ten years of his life he was almost completely deaf. The last three years of his life, Beethoven became more of a hermit--his temper was horrible and he didn't socialize well.
