A collection of four allegorical studies, this is, hands-down, one of my favorite collections of Christian stories.
Story one is set in the future, from the point of a homeless woman taken to a "rehab" facility. What happens when she meets a mysterious man and strange things begin to happen to the "pretty" people?
The second story is a long allegory set in a fictional land. Exploring the relationship between the Catholic and the Protestant church, set in a land at war, is not only a good story in itself, but a powerful message about division in the church.
The third story is less than two pages, about a father and a son and what is really important.
The fourth and last is about a man sent to bring others to the court of the king and what happens when he does.
Highly recommend. Should be read by any Christian who enjoy parables and stories.
