A Curious Hieroglyphick Bible; or, Select Passages…
This bible is a facsimile copy of the 1788 original in the collection of the Library of Congress. A tiny book, printed in large type, with small illustrations to replace words in the text, it was presumably written to help children with bible study, but I can't imagine a beginning reader making any sense of it at all. It reads like an extended rebus puzzle with poorly designed illustrations.
