My students find this collection to be highly readable.

A good, but not particularly successful, attempt to integrate math into a mystery story. The problem is not compelling nor difficult to solve, and the math needed feels tacked on. Still, students may enjoy the full color graphics and easy story line.

Students who enjoy math and mysteries will probably enjoy this series. I didn't think it was a stellar book, but would allow for some concepts to be practiced. It would need to be used after division is introduced or with the aid of an adult.
