I got this for free. I certainly paid too much for it. One animal is sure everything is going to turn into a monster. The other says, No it won't.' This repeats several times before they try to play music. Then is is assumed that anyone can get music out of a drum by just being told to bang with the sticks. And they all lived happily ever after.

Just perfect for a bedtime story.
Writing is so clear, making this an excellent book for a young child learning to read. Pictures are really colourful also and aren't small at all, whitch is fab so my daughter can see them whilst I read the story to her. Also she can get more involved in the story, becaz instead of turning the pages over you just touch the images and that turns the page also you get to hear the sounds. She got me to this to her bout three times already, so obviously enjoys the book.

It's so precious this book, on the very first page you will find Pookie and by touching him, he will say "hye. I'm Pookie"

I got this book with iTunes, when it was offered free and I'm so chuffed that I did, this is a wonderful and beautiful book.

Also the version one iv got from iTunes, so I'm not sure which one it is from Amazon, at the end of this story is Pookies song. So you actually see and hear Pookie and Tuskha playing the blue piano whilst singing 'on top of the world'

This book was about a penguin that loves to sing but can only seem to sing sad songs. The penguin has a friend that is a polar bear who seems to be afraid of everything and one day they find a piano that is frozen in ice. They take the piano back to their house and put it by the fire to get the piano out of the ice. The polar bear tries to play the piano once it is free but he finds it too difficult. The penguin has a good idea and gives the bear a drum to play instead and together the penguin and bear make a happy song. This book shows that through teamwork anything is possible. It is a very positive story and the text is easy for children to understand. When using dialogue the penguins speech is in blue and the bears is in orange. This is a great way to help children remember who is speaking. This book also has a great section at the end that provides facts about the arctic region, polar bears, and penguins. This is a wonderful book that can help children learn to overcome fears.… (más)
