Biografía breve
Raised by skydivers, Robert Tacoma spent his formative years in central Florida public schools during the week and at various jump centers across the state on weekends. He also learned to fish the waters in and around the Sunshine State, so you could say he grew to appreciate Florida from the air and water as well as the land.
Though he has never been to Texas, Robert can usually find it on a map. He currently lives in north central Florida and all his pets have run away. [retrieved 10/20/17 from Amazon.com Author Page]

I love the strong women portrayed in Robert Tacoma's novels. That said, their flaws make them human and relatable. Key wicked is yet another great read from Mr. Tacoma. He cannot write them fast enough for me.

I was introduced to Robert Tacoma's Key West Witches years ago when Amazon recommended his novels because I read Carl Hiaasen and Christopher Moore. Do yourself a favor and locate the Key Witches series, you will fall in love with the sisters. The Last Buccaneer is a different tack for Mr. Tacoma. The novel is still set in southern Florida and the Keys but it takes place in the mid-1800's.
The Last Buccaneer opens with William Younger inheriting his grandfathers boat and the crooked bankers hot on his trail. Captain William Younger is joined by Moon a native American and one of his grandfather's trusted crew members. Then the adventure begins with pirates and shipwreck treasure. An interesting female character is introduced in this opening novel of a promised series so I am very much looking forward to seeing how that dynamic develops. Thank you for a good read, Mr. Tacoma.… (más)

What is it about Southern Florida? So many great characters, great stories, and great authors. I've added Robert Tacoma to my growing list of favorite Southern Florida authors (Carl Hiaasen, Tim Dorsey, Randy Wayne White).

Tacoma's reference to the "unusual" characters from other authors within his novels is especially fun.

I'm looking forward to Taco Bob's next adventure. I sincerely hope the three sisters return as well because they certainly add a certain magic to the story.
