Seasons of Green Pines by Cheri Swalwell
Collection of 7 stories surrounding the Green Pines Community with glimpses of how the community comes together to celebrate. Not all holidays go according to plan. Some are super gay and traditional and some are super sad and tragic.
Such loving, fun, entertaining, in depth details and descriptions along with scriptures from the Bible. After each segment you are given a book title to read further into the subject brought up in the book.
What I love most is the love the characters have for one another and how they are willing to drop whatever they are doing to help others. There is so much giving in these books. Can’t wait to read more from this author. Links to inspirational messages daily is included along with authors podcasts.
Received this review copy from the author and this is my honest opinion.

Redemption Full Circle Book 6 by Cheri Swalwell
Love everything abou this book, realistic with twists and turns.
It's a real live shooter at school and everybody steps up to the plate.
Love all the intricate details as my kids were lucky to have never experienced this.
Love that the couples in trouble are shown the path to God and how they can be saved.
Some have struggles with PTSD and I love hearing how it's handled.
Love what the family consists of, so widespread. Hope this series can continue with next generation....

Path to Grace by Cheri Swalwell is a Christian Women’s Fiction work. It is the fifth book in the The Redemption of Green Pines series. This story continues the saga with the characters from previous books. So, while you might be able to read this book independently, I recommend reading the books in order. This installment tells the stories of Ariana and Matt.

Ariana is Daddy’s little princess, living her life to please him. She expects all men to give in to her wants. However, Matt refuses to do that. He, however, does get glimpses of the real Ariana. This book beautifully illustrates how family dynamics can build up or destroy relationships. Throughout this entire series, the author builds characters and relationships that revolve around a need to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Unexpected pregnancies allow a relationship to build between Ariana and her arch nemesis, Sabrina. I loved seeing how Jesus Christ and His Love and grace illustrated by those around her allowed Ariana to flourish in her relationships with her siblings, Matthew, and those around her, including her mother.

So, if you enjoy Christian Women’s Fiction, check out Path to Grace and the entire series about The Redemption of Green Pines by Cheri Swalwell for yourself. I highly recommend them. Personally, I am anxious for the next book to come out.

I received a complimentary copy of this book, but this in no way influenced my review. All opinions are my own.

I've only read this volume in the Redemption of Green Pines series. I was grateful that the prologue included the last two chapters of the previous book. The tale revolves around Matt and Ariana and their families, so even though this is book 5 in the series, I didn't feel lost. I enjoy how the author draws the reader into this intimate group, which makes me feel immediately at home.

It was fascinating to see how the story developed around these flawed characters. Some individuals were compassionate and helpful to the people God placed in their lives. I appreciate how the author describes their situation and how the characters take full responsibility for their actions. They had the courage to do this because of their close-knit group of friends and their faith in God. I liked how the main characters are still upbeat and hopeful even though neither their surroundings nor their circumstances changed.

I connected intimately with this group and its struggles. Both the reader and the characters come to understand what it means to give all to the Lord, their Savior. It felt natural, not forced, but honest when a character prayed for the redemption of another character.

I loved the depth of the story and the well-rounded characters. I also adored the setting and the peaceful town of Green Pies. This is a powerful, and thought-provoking story that would be great for your book group.
