Thanks to best friend Michael Robert finds himself in California going to a new circuit party. This would be the red party which is supposed to work in tandem with the white party. However some people don't think so and put out threats on the guy who's running it. Fun campy mystery.

3 1/2 stars More balanced than the first book in the series with some genuine laughs to boot. I need to find the rest of the series now.

This book gets the privilege of being the worst book that I have read this year. Is it really necessary to talk about penises and sex and other sexual things in every chapter? It's really not necessary for the plot and actually slows it down. It's like the author is trying too hard to be funny and it doesn't work for me! The last chapter was probably the best where the detective explained about the murderer and why she did her dirty deeds. Don't waste your time otherwise.

Short and sweet. Amusing in parts, annoying in parts, weak on plot.
