Jez Strider

The story is about a woman, who’d been expected to be the female alpha of a pack of lycans when she was eighteen, but instead found herself pregnant and had run away. Now, eighteen years later her son will be making his first change and his father, the pack leader, wants him home with the pack when he makes it. And of course Jak, her son, knows nothing about his heritage.

Both a romance and a light mystery as Mara has always loved Kaden, Jak’s father, and he her, but she thought she’d been betrayed all those years ago. The mystery is that someone has kidnapped a boy who will soon change and the pack can’t find him.

There isn’t a great deal of world or character building, and the story could have had more depth to it. But I’d picked this up when it was offered for free. The concept and scenarios aren’t bad and at just under 200 pages it’s a fairly quick read.… (más)
