Lacy and Thad are newly married and ready to enjoy the family they already have; which is raising two girls rescued from child trafficking overseas. They will soon discover another child in danger and have to quickly decide what to do. I appreciated their journey as these two people open up their home and their lives to helping those who have little hope. Their family will grow quickly and their lives will be very busy, but their love for each other will stay strong. A well told story and series that I am glad I found and read. These 3 books read as one big book so I encourage you to read them in the order written.… (más)

This story picks up right where book one left off. Lacy Linden’s life has changed dramatically in the last year, and she is happier than she ever thought possible. Thad Gannon has proposed marriage and Lacy has said yes! But days later Thad will be called away on a family emergency, and to protect Lacy and Kew and Ting, he can't stay in touch like he would like.

This will eventually lead to Lacy having doubts about Thad, their relationship and her lack of trust. She has a good life with Kew and Ting, and the fact that Thad has not called for weeks forces the question: What if he never comes back? Lacy will need to get beyond her fears and have the courage to trust both God and Chad.

A good story, but I liked book one better. Looking forward to beginning the third and final book in this series next, 'Lacy's Legacy'.

I liked 'Lacy's Lane'; the characters, the storyline and the way the author weaved the awareness of human trafficking into this story. Lacy grew up down a lane, with the neighbor being the Gannon's. They had a grandson, Thad, who came to live with them and became good friends with introverted Lacy. Fast forward to prom night when Thad gets someone else to take Lacy home and things go wrong.

Now you start the story, with Lacy and her sister all grown up, living down the lane even after their parents died. Thad has moved on and become a popular television star who only occasionally visits and checks up on his grandfather. Lacy however has been taking care of his place and her place and never taking time for herself. Thad's grandfather takes a turn for the worse and Lacy calls him to come home. Now it will get interesting as Thad and Lacy reconnect. I have to say I was intertained and educated at the same time as I read this story. Lacy will apply for and take on two young girls from overseas who have been sold into child slavery. Hard to believe this really goes on in our world today. But the author handled this subject very well. Looking forward to reading the next two books in this series.… (más)
