Ninth Wife, The: A Novel por Amy Stolls
The story was good overall and interestingly told....but with some kinks. I didn't like the language in certain parts of the book nor the body part references.

DSH-M-Library | 24 reseñas más. | Jan 4, 2023 | Sweet love story with a few twists, and lots of interesting characters. Very Maeve Binchey-esque except it takes place in America not Ireland--although there are a couple of Irish characters.

auldhouse | 24 reseñas más. | Sep 30, 2021 | I did enjoy this book. The insecurity Bess has of Rory being married 8 times before, the relationship of her grandparents and Rory's insecurities of why his marriages haven't worked show how everyone has insecurities but you deal with them and life goes on. You should always take chances in life. The one thing I didn't like was the chapters kept switching voices between the characters and the chapters weren't marked. That drives me crazy. I shouldn't have to work to figure out who is 'talking.'
