Erma Steppe

This is a book I would recommend highly. I can't stop thinking about it and have been telling anyone who will listen about Erma. The struggles one child went through and to be able to over come it is truly inspiring. The courage and strength that a child had to have to deal with things no one should ever have to go through. To see how her mother treated her was horrifying, the total lack of a mother love is heartbreaking to read I can't even imagine living it. It really touched me I just want to give Erma a big hug and kept hoping as I read on someone would save her from the pain. Thank God for those people that did enter her life and give her moments of relief. This was an easy read very hard to put down once you start.
