I’ve tried reading this one twice but can’t get into it.

I ended up dnf‘ing this one. It started out so good—all the humor and fun—but got repetitive over time as the plot disintegrated. I may come back to it later, but at this point I won’t be continuing.

This was a very enjoyable Retelling of Little Red Riding Hood and had several characters that I enjoyed getting to know. This is the second book in the Villain's Ever After Series that I have read and I look forward to reading more from this series and exploring more new authors through it as well.

Sweet little novella. I really think this would have benefited from being longer. Still it was a nice little remake of Red Riding Hood. There was a lot crammed in here. The hero and heroine were an interesting couple. There was quite a bit of deus ex machina. But still worth the read.
