William P. Spence (1925–2016)

I picked this up at the library on a whim, because I have been taking on more construction-related texts lately and thought I should like to read a bit more on the subject. This book is certainly very informative, but there were some cringe-worthy spelling errors and the writer is apparently allergic to commas. There were some sentences where the lack of a comma made me pause in confusion, wondering which of the multiple interpretations was the correct one.

That being said, there are lots of helpful diagrams and tables, an extensive glossary and multiple sets of standards cited, so it's a good resource if you're not a complete beginner to the world of construction.… (más)
