A fine update of the Sparks's classic Histomap. First introduced in 1931 and updated for decades after that by his family members, this 2010 update totally updated the typeface, the size is larger, and the paper is now laminated. The best thing, though, is that it is put into a large, thin book cover, which allows it to be put on a bookshelf (if not hung). A grand update. Well worth the $10 price at Barnes & Noble for an at-a-glance view of history, and perfect for younguns who like to see the flow of history. A neat little visual interpretation of the rise and fall of various nations in world history. Sort of like the Wall Chart, but without the detail and images. Neat to stick onto a nearby wall if you need a quick glance at something.
