Soskin has a plan to travel all through France and into Spain in his camper van, and being a fan of all things camper van is why I picked the book up in the first place.

On the way through France he stops of a a school friends new business venture, a campsite just outside Rennes Le Chateau. He has some history with this location, it being the the subject of his father, Henry Lincoln, co author of The Holy Blood and The Holy Grail. On the campsite they get roped in to helping more and more and decide to stay the first season to help. He is a trained chef, and ends up doing all the cooking for the restaurant. At the end of the season his father comes over to show a coach load of people around the town and the locations mentioned in The Holy Blood and The Holy Grail, and he gets roped into helping him.

Sadly it is not a well written book, and he comes across as living under his fathers shadow, and takes a chapter to put across his feeling on the theory from The Holy Blood and The Holy Grail. There are a few laugh out loud moments, hence why I have given it two stars, but it could have done with a lot more editing.
