Short essays by Union College faculty on rare books from the college's rare book collections and their continued relevance, to accompany a 1982 exhibition on the topic. Uneven, as such a creation is bound to be, but having the great range of perspectives (from philosophers to civil engineers) is valuable and keeps things interesting.
