This is a collection of essays ranging from historical analysis to political commentary. Excellent academic, feminist collection about sex and sexuality.

This is a collection of memoirs from the second wave of American feminism. There are different perspectives of the priorities of the movement, and paints a vivid picture of the times. Most of the people (so far) came out of the Civil Rights and Student Movements of the times, which I'm pretty familiar with. I'm not as familiar with the labor movements of the earlier part of the century, where some of these women came out of. I want to learn more about that.

There is a lot in this book. There were some essays I didn't finish, because some of the stories became repetitive. While I appreciate the honesty of the writers, it started becoming exhausting, reading of how much in-fighting took place--that was a frequently recounted topic.

What made me pick this book up from the library was that Minnie Bruce Pratt had an entry in it, and that did not disappoint.
