This book is very colorful and has a quick and simple Table of Contents to easily navigate the book. I would agree with the author and say this book is probably good for anyone 10-18 who is on a shopping/fashion budget. Even if you are older and still prefer to budget your shopping, you can find some helpful tips in this book.

The book begins with some history of fashion and transitions to the meaning of fashion vs. style. (Fashion being what the designers are currently producing and putting on the shelves, and Style being what fits one's own personality.)

I really enjoyed how the author breaks down the book into different sections: what to consider before a purchase, items that should be in all wardrobes, different body types/styles, fabric, and several more. One of the parts I found most helpful was the part about building up a wardrobe you already have. Using some of the tips and advice provided by the author, you may already have a pretty nice wardrobe that can be enhanced with a little help.

Overall, this was a quick and easy read with some helpful shopping and fashion tips.… (más)
