An interesting read on how many modern beauty products are actually harming our skin and the vicious circle of modern skincare in which we believe we need more products to sooth and heal irritated skin, but in actual fact we prolong the irritation. Suffer no more; the author, a dermatologist, takes a "less is more" approach and describes the "product elimination diet" to fix the issues. The book is filled with real life examples from her practice. She also talks about the people that have completely given up soap etc. and the "no poo" movement (people that do not wash their hair - eventually our hair and bodies will regulate and become normal much like the fur of a cat or dog), but as this book is for a less radial readership, she takes the middle ground and the book is filled with good examples of beauty products to use.… (más)
