It's an interesting case, but I found the writing style to be rather dry and boring. The last few chapters were the most compelling to me, as the author discussed "lone wolf" terrorists in general, rather than this case in particular.

Good source of vignettes of a range of terrorists, but analysis is flawed by his expansive definition of terrorism that includes acts of ordinary crimes for financial or other personal gain. For him, if an act *causes* the public to be scared, regardless of the actor's motivation, it is terrorism. That pretty much makes every antisocial act terroristic, and thus the discussion is too general to be helpful.
