Adrienne Shelly (1966–2006)

This is (mostly) a sweet film--in some ways literally. Just watching the pies shown in this film raised my blood sugar. And I loved the relationships between the waitresses--the friendship. I loved how Jenna grew in confidence. I do wish though that it had been through her talent in that pie-making--rather than an adulterous affair. I know that aspect would put several people I know off this film, which would be a shame. Because otherwise this is a delicious and light confection, and Keri Russell and Nathan Fillion were very appealing separately and together.… (más)
