My thanks to the Author publishers and BookSirens for providing me with a Kindle version of this book to read and honestly review.
They say never judge a book by the cover, but then how to choose my preferred method is the first page test, namely I read the first page and if I want to carry on reading its a winner and 95% of the time it works. This book had a terrific start, action-packed engaging with good characters and possibly more plot twists than any book I have ever read. So why only four stars, it would have been four and a half but did not know how to do the half, why not give it five stars well my slight problem was I found it a trifle contrived, an ordinary optometrist outsmarts crooked FBI agents judges lawyers and a notorious gangster family. When I am totally into a book I am reading I have to read myself away when duty calls and as soon as possible want to pick it up again, this was not the case here, I found I would pick up the actual physical book I was also reading at the time, or even another kindle.
