A rhyming poem about a father's unconditional love, along the lines of Robert Munch's "Love You Forever" but not creepy. A father's three squeezes are how he tells his son he loves him, as he grows from infant to young man. The love comes full circle as the young man has a family of his own.

Great inspiration for play. Especially useful to have a large box (or a few) to play with afterwards!

This book is a good book for primary readers that is about love and family. Some of the readers may be able to picture themselves as the child in the book or as a door into the life they want to provide for their kids. It has a sweet message about a parents love through struggles and accomplishments. There are good pictures throughout the book to show the life of the child and progression.

This book would be good for primary students.

This story is about a father and a son. The father talks about as his son has grown up he has always given him three firm squeezes. He walks through his entire life and in every event, he gives his son three firm squeezes. We get to the end of the book and the father expresses to the son that the three firm squeezes means I love you.

This book is very sweet. I would use this as a read aloud for younger students. I might read this if we are talking about family or relationships. This is just a good reminder to love those around you.… (más)
