Personal Reaction:
I love this book. It is our night time reader. The soft colors of the pictures are soothing and relaxing. The rhyming and repetition allows children to read a long.

Extension Ideas: I would have a discussion about the particular animals and their sleeping patterns, along with a cut and paste assignment labeling each animal and which habitat they are from.
A chart could be made to show all different types of animals and graph their individual sleeping patterns.… (más)
