I have read other collections by Shapiro I liked better, but this was a fine enough collection.

Alan Shapiro a winner of the Kingsley Tufts Poetry award puts together a nice collection of poems. As with any collection you will like some poems and dislike others. This collection has a unique mix of styles and forms. AN underlying theme of many of these poems is the concept of mortalty and death but there are also some light hearted poems as well. A nice collection worth reading.
