Summary:
Severe Weather is a informational book about different types of weather. Tornadoes which form funnels out of the clouds and touch the ground. Thunderstorms that come along with lightening that can strike the ground and other objects. The book also talks Snow, Blizzard, Hurricanes all of which are considered severe weather.

Personal Reaction: This book was informational and nothing more than what I already knew. It is definitely geared toward second graders.

Extension Ideas:
Have students write about weather they have experienced.
Students can have an experiment about how the clouds work.… (más)
