I am reviewing the book, Instant Memory Training For Success - Practical Techniques for a sharper mind. Here are my thoughts:

^^ A book about sharpening your mind (and memorising things better) that is both fun and practical. And I don't know about you, but I can do with all the memory help I can get, and the more fun someone can m
ake it, the better!

^^ The advice given by The International Man of Memory (Chester Santos) is creative and detailed, yet written in a clear and concise format, making it a an effective way to learn - without being boring.

^^ Covers several ideas for different uses, whether it be learning facts just for fun, getting to grips with a foreign language, or for building better business relationships.

^^ I love Chapter 5 - Dealing with numbers. That is the section I am concentrating on. I have to remember so many numbers at work, this is really useful.

^^ Some techniques are more 'instant' than others. Some take a lot of hard work.

^^ This is a book from a range of self help books by Capstone, which are all a similar size and stand next to each other in an nice even matching line, which I like. In an OCD kind of way.

Overall: This is an interesting, creative book that provides ideas and solutions, with end of book tests, to
learn how to improve your memory. It's quite clever and with lots of practice, (I have started some exercises) I can see how it will work over time. Fun stuff. Now, if I could only remember where I left the book...… (más)
