Caillou is getting older and he is still wearing diapers. He wants to wear underpants but he needs to learn to use the potty. Mommy surprises Caillou with a potty for him to use. Caillou’s a big boy now. He still has a few accidents, but after a while, he learns to use the potty, flush after he dumps it and to ask to use the potty when he needs it. I thought it was cute when he did not want to flush his poop down the toilet, that is exactly what my son did as well.

We are getting ready to toilet/potty train our grandson and this book will come in handy to help him. He loves to read so reading him this while he sits on his potty might just do the trick. A great little book to help with this step of development.

I received this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

This book is great for young readers because it is easy to read and comprehend. Also, it is relatable to the because it consists of activities that they do as well and thus, will be more interesting to them. It leaves room for discussion about what their routines are, asking what toys they bring in the bath and other questions of the sort.
Although this book is not exactly as advanced or informational as I had hoped it to be, it is still a good book for preschool or kindergarten.

We have a new baby sister and have been reading books to ease the transition from only child to sibling. This book was disappointing. It didn't really engage your emotions or draw you in to the story at all. It seems as though it was written to cash in on name recognition (of the Caillou PBS show) and little thought went into making it a worthwhile story.
