Oni, a Jewish settlement high in the Caucasian mountains of Georgia, celebrates the 100th anniversary of its synagogue and the community's continuing presence in the region, which dates back 2,500 years. (fonte: Ushmm)
A documentary film about a journey of French and American scholars, Holocaust survivors, and family members in an area in Poland and Ukraine which was called Galicia before World War II. They visit cemeteries, archives, and synagogues in cities and towns where large Jewish populations had lived in order to trace their roots and perhaps find documents and remains of the glorious past of extinct Jewish communities.
