This is a collection of memories of crew members who flew in for Bomber Command in WW II. Some are training stories but most of what these men faced over enemy territory or on the way there and back. Heroism abounds but it does include the incident where a pompous pilot bailed out of his plane without warning the crew while over Warsaw because he was sure they would be shot down.
