Mel Robbins is a smart woman and some of the things she shares are things needed to be heard by most. I think this explains why her talks attract crowds. Many of us need it to be expressed out loudly that it is time to get out of our own heads, that we need our own consistent push to reach our goals, and that we need to let go of hurtful and useless thoughts, and of such people. And responding to an immediate impulse to push ourselves could make the difference. As someone with a scientific background, I wasn’t really satisfied with her brief mentions and references to the science that would support her ideas. I personally would have liked to hear much more about it.
Overall, I would not rate this highly as a book discussing her ideas. It is not. But there is some valuable information that I enjoyed hearing and I know I will keep thinking about.… (más)
