Abbie Roads

I swear this series is like watching a cross episode of criminal minds and supernatural, it’s truly amazing. The author does such a great job of making the reader feel all the emotions of the characters and getting into their heads to really experience the book. When you step inside this story you are taken on this intense ride where the suspense will have you chewing your fingernails off in anticipation and then throw twits at you you don’t see coming. Lathan is incredible and my heart hurt for him because his unique ability made him suffer through a lot in which nobody really understood, but he was such a gentle giant especially when it came to Evanee. Evanee’s life was incredibly horrific that hurts to your soul, but the way she would carry her head high and fight through things gave you a sense of strength and bravery. Together these two are made for each other in so many ways but first they are going to have to endure a lot of ups and downs to figure out how to get to their happily ever after. I absolutely love these characters, their stories of strength and love, the way the author keeps the readers thinking, and so much more. I can’t to see what happens next.… (más)

Straight from the beginning this story starts out intense that had my heart in my throat hoping against hope things went a better way and this feeling was with me until the very end. Thomas and Helen’s stories are tragic and heart wrenching that you want to hold them tight and never let go, so when their paths cross you hope they can put the past away and move forward but it wouldn’t be a thriller if it was that easy. The tragedy and pain they both endured shattered my soul, but the way they helped each other heal, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally was pure beauty. It was suspenseful and kept me on the edge of my seat wanting to find out what would happen next and even though my heart broke for them it also cheered them on as they were finally getting the happiness they deserved. It has its dark moments, but the beautiful moments make the pain worth it. The author is amazing and knows how to pull all the emotions out of the reader while keeping the story epically suspenseful.… (más)

So so good!!!!!

This book was yet another amazing story by this author. It was heart pounding action and equal steam that I could not put it down. This book follows Cain who has this certain ability that helps him solve murders so as an profiler of sorts to the FBI he does what he can even if it pains him to atone for his own demons. Cain fights everyday to never become what he hates the most in this world and that is his father who is the epitome of evil but when he finds himself having to help Mercy his guilt constantly maws at him yet the attraction and pull to her is too strong. Mercy is a fighter, a survivor, and she proves that time and time again but can she let herself love someone or is she too afraid to get close to anyone in fear that she’s cursed? This book was like watching an amazing tv show or movie because it has it all suspense, love, action, mysteries and I can’t wait to see what happens next.… (más)
