Spend an extremely long day (or break it into two) with this PF15 paranormal which finds the Vampire Rise imprisoned after what happened in Rise of One. I had an ARC from BookFunnel and this voluntary review is my own opinion.
It only takes two hours for this PG15 paranormal of two members of a vampire coven seeking a home in England at the outbreak of WWI.
The tension and world created in this short story persisted beyond the ending. The writing is quietly powerful.
