This was a sad DNF. I really thought I would love this book. I do like the art and it’s a supernatural tale. That part I liked, however, one of our main characters makes himself a girl. Very much Weird Science movie vibes. When they made this girl, he made her mindless. She can harm and do battle, but has no thoughts or knowledge of her own. She is an empty vessel for them to do with as they please. I don’t like that. Tt just turned me off, and I do not care to ever finish this book, let alone read any sequels.… (más)
This volume has gotten a great deal darker though it opens with a chaotic game of basically keep-away until an egg hatched.
I like the story best when it focuses on Kazu, Pandora, Nemo, and Hitomi. A bunch of new characters were introduced and a side character got the spotlight, but I didn’t care too much for it. The artwork is still excellent as usual, but when so much is going on it can get confusing.

The world building is super interesting, especially when you add in the amazing illustrations. I think the premise is really cool - Pandora was built to be a companion but now they're getting into some real shenanigans. I would have liked a little more character information or development. We got thrown into the action and I wasn't entirely sure who was who and why they were there.
Overall, this is a fun manga read! I'm really glad I got to pick up a copy.
Three out of five stars.
