teen realistic fiction (boy gets dumped by girlfriend in the middle of "romantic" boat trip, stumbles on support group for teens with addiction and other problems). I found this book while looking for books about teens and depression (in the hopes that I might be helpful or at least not harmful to some teens I know with depression), and thought I would give this a try since I also know of teens with addiction problems. It turns out that this doesn't really go into addiction that much, or kleptomania, or bulimia, but it does deal with a teen learning to accept himself in a very readable way. I read this in one day, so it's even quicker than the usual teen fic.… (más)
