I am a big fan of spin bowling, as I consider it almost an art form. Rajan looks at spinners who have helped define the techniques. I particularly like the way he has a mini chapter on each type of spin, from the leg break to the googly.
Really good book for all cricket fans

A rambling, occasionally humorous potted history of spin bowling that covers all the usual suspects (Warne, Grimmett, Muralidaran, and so on), mixed with recollections of the author's once promising career as a spinner in England.

I would be obvious to state this book for cricket lovers, but in addition to this there is a considerable amount of detail relating to the techniques of spin bowlers that would baffle all that have not played at at least a good club level. Experience about playing with and against spin bowlers of at least good quality would be of benefit. Besides the technical stuff there are some excellent stories and profiles of many of these great bowlers.
