Another superb volume of Neweek's Books Great Museums of the World Series.
Una serie di lettere, interventi, scritti che ben testimoniano tutta la vis polemica di Ragghianti sul tema patrimonio / beni culturali. Rappresentativo di un'epoca (interessanti per esempio le considerazioni sul nascente ministero dei b.c.) ma alla lunga un po' ripetitivo e senza dubbio letto oggi spesso datato.
Nice, but not a very impressive collection
It's a shame such as magnificent collection of the Egyptian people are displayed in such an out-of-date exhibition space. While the building would make a great space for an edited collection. As for the collection itself, the awe from photographs alone makes me imagine how incredible affect on a person visiting in person.
