One of two books me and Mara read together tonight. (This and Nobody Hugs a Cactus). This was a really cute book about the first day of Bashi (from birth to sleep of the first day). Mara especially liked it because its elephants and thats MaMa's favorite animal.

Its a cute, quick, fun read that the two of us enjoyed.

As the sun rises over the Afreican plain, the mother elephant and her newborn calf, bashi, follow the heard down to the watering hole. great book story for children want to learn about African plain.

This is a children’s book, but it is a good story about the snow leopard. Great pictures. I would love to hug a cub if mom wouldn’t get upset with me. The story of the snow leopard caught my attention as they are on the endangered list, and I voted in a couple of groups to get funding to protect them (and they won $20,000 for this project). I just wanted to learn a little bit more about them.
