Although I was very sorry that Pynn had to experience prostate cancer and all of the horrible things that come with it, I was glad he made something positive out of his experience. So many men deal with this disease in some way, and the only way to help control its spread is through education. This book does that, with its mix of personal narrative and plenty of highly useful information. If I knew someone suffering from this disease, I would gladly pass along my copy of this book so they would know what to expect, what to look for, and that they are not alone.… (más)

I received this book a part of the Early Reviewers program, and I requested it because my husband had just been diagnosed with prostrate cancer. Although my husband's cancer was no where near as serious, I still felt there were a lot of informative portions of this book that could help any man dealing with prostrate issues.

I recommend this book to any family dealing with the issues surrounding a diagnosis of prostrate cancer.

Since receiving this book, i have read it and realized it was very informative, at least from a males point of view. I'm actually very sorry i didn't review it immediately after reading it, but had computer issues. I would highly suggest anyone fighting cancer, i would suggest reading this book.

Well written, easy to read, remarkably informative as well as VERY interesting. In a comfortably written true story about the authors' own experiences, his searches and researching, his gleaned learnings...as these all (and more) are shared in an easy to follow and surprisingly captivating 'read'. Don't expect a dry read, but a thoughtful and worthwhile one. The author does a tremendous job at writing a very good thin (215 pages) book that will keep one reading on.
