Anna Pump (1934–2015)

Anna Pump was born Anna Heitweg Tutjer on April 11, 1934, on a 70-acre farm in Tarp, Germany. She immigrated to the United States with her husband in 1960. They moved to the Hamptons in the late 1970s. For a time, she cooked for the Barefoot Contessa store in Westhampton Beach. She opened the mostrar más Loaves and Fishes Foodstore in 1980 with her daughter. They also operated a 12-room hotel and fine dining room, the Bridgehampton Inn and Restaurant, and in 2003 opened a kitchen and dining store, the Loaves and Fishes Cookshop. She also wrote several cookbooks during her lifetime including The Loaves and Fishes Cookbook and Country Weekend Entertaining: Seasonal Recipes from Loaves and Fishes and the Bridgehampton Inn.
