Although I'm sorry to see this series end, I loved this final book of the series and how everything gets all tied up.

I've read the earlier books in the series several times each, and expect to visit the series again. This book was really the only one I didn't read in one sitting. I didn't want it to end, and dreaded each time the progress bar advanced on my Kindle.

The book isn't quite what I expected. It's more about surviving than about zombies. Sure, there are zombies, but as more of a background to everything else that is going on. Most of the action in the book is human vs human.

And, about 65% of the way into the book, it got weird and shifted into a different arena. I almost put the book down at that point, but stayed with it. And I'm glad I did. The new paradigm didn't take over the story, but just kind of stayed there in the background like the zombies. More spice to the story than anything else.

I'm looking forward to the second book in the series.

A good third book in the series.

Not a whole lot of new things in this book, but more a continuation of previous themes. But with fewer zombies than the previous books. This book was more on forging of alliances and building trust within the surviving groups.

I enjoy the writing style, but I can see how some people wouldn't. It can be a little disjointed here and there, more a train of thought style than a narrative style.

My one disappointment with the book is that this one had far more grammatical and typographical errors than the first two. It could have used a bit more proof reading before it was published.… (más)
