Dr. Powell states plainly by laying out the history and current status of treatment and dementia research that a cure will not happen in time for the baby boomer generation. However, her personal experience in walking with loved ones with dementia propels her to look for ways to find joy in the process and retain dignity. My favorite oh-so-practical dignity idea is one I am planning to implement: the bidet.
