Victory through air power 🎥 por James Algar
This is a unique film in Walt Disney Productions’ history. This film is essentially a propaganda film selling Major Alexander de Seversky’s theories about the practical uses of long range strategic bombing. Astaire does one tap number; otherwise, all of the dancing is uncharacteristically boring. I suppose they felt the need to faithfully recreate the Castles' actual dances. But why? Why would you want to make this movie? And more importantly, why would you want to waste Astaire & Rogers on it?
