The Mode of Information: Poststructuralism and… por Mark Poster
Starts with a concept of The Mode of Information by analogy with the Marxist theory of mode of production. His aim is to theorize the "decentering" of the self and the subject by electronic communication forms such as television and databases. His method is to create four bodies of theory at a middle level of abstraction, what I call theoretical middleware (by analogy with software architecture). Postmodernism as of 1990.
