Jenny Lind Porter

Jenny Lind Porter, poetess, offers an excellent biography of William Sydney Porter, aka O Henry and his friend Witter Bynner. As well as a copy of his manuscript, A Fog in Santone.
This brief biography skillfully introduces the novice to the life and motivations of Mr. Porter. I found it a quick read, extremely and well written. His friend Witter Bynner saw the genius and their friendship offered opportunities to both men who, though unrecognized, left their brilliant mark on the world.
As a sidebar, the author is a distant cousin of her subject.… (más)
