This is the sequel to "10 things to do before you are 16" which I have not read but I didn't realise it was a follow on until I finished the book, as the author explains the characters so well at the start! Beth & Anna are best friends who each have a boyfriend; in fact Beth is going out with Anna's brother Joey and Anna is going out with Joey's best friend Sam. But Beth is not happy as Joey seems to spend very little time with her, talks about football all the time, thinks a hot date is playing xbox and often forgets to ring her. What brings things to a head is their double-date to a horror museum, where the boys act like juveniles and then Joey gets mad at Beth for being scared! To make matters worse, that night, Joey dumps Beth by SMS! One for girls who have been pressured into having a boyfriend just because everyone else has one - like mobile phones, ipods and the latest clothes.… (más)
