- Thom Pico est né en 1989 à Périgueux. Féru de lettres, il se tourne naturellement vers des études d'Arts du spectacle spécialité Théâtre, dont il sort diplômé en 2014. Il exerce depuis différentes activités, alternant théâtre, écriture et ateliers jeunesse, jusqu'à ce que Karensac lui propose de collaborer à son nouveau projet de bande dessinée. En 2018, il met en scène son texte "Clipperton" avec la Compagnie "La Naine Rouge", participe à l'écriture d'une série produite par Chicken'S Chicots, et sort les deux premiers tomes d'Aubépine aux Éditions Dupuis, avec Karensac au dessin.

I really wound up liking this read. I thought it was so cute. I really liked how this collection had two solid that connected back to each other and also left it open for my stories in the future. I really liked the elements of magic in this novel and found the art to be adorable. I really liked how this book tackled moving and being lonely but also a fun adventure story! I will def be reading more by this author in the future.

Aster reminds me a bit of Hilda, if Hilda hated the woods and loved the city. Aster's parents pull a really low move, and lie to her about how long they are really staying in this tiny village in the middle of nowhere. When her brother leaves for college she can't believe how bored she is...until a strange glow in the night that she sees from her window leads her to a pack of shaggy dogs and lots of magical weirdness (good weirdness).… (más)
Aster's magical adventures continue in this sequel. This time, the mysterious and vengeful sheep that have been hiding from the villagers start causing trouble by sabotaging the village. Why are the sheep so angry? This adventure is fun and action packed, just like the first one. I love this series!
