I was not a fan of this super short read. While I absolutely love anything with a Greek Mythology base, this one bothered me. The biggest thing was that they referred to Zeus as Hades' father and that is not correct. If you are going to use Greek mythology get important parts correct especially the Gods family tree.

When Hades finds Jenna Krinard in the mortal world, he is convinced that she is the incarnation of his missing wife, Persephone. He has been searching for her for a thousand years and is slowly losing patience. He kidnaps her again as he did a millenium ago and takes her to the Underworld.

Jenna Krinard is just getting her life together with a new job and a new house - one that is truly beautiful to her. Then Hades kidnaps her and she remembers her former life with him. Now, she is desperate to find a way to keep her love and her life together.

I really enjoyed this short story. It was a sweet paranormal romance. I give it an A!

Jordan Hudson had not had much luck in the dating arena since his divorce. Even though ladies wonder “why all the nice guys are taken”, he found that they either wanted a commitment or they wanted the opposite of the nice guy. So, with a little help from his friend’s Dummy’s Guide To book, Jordan decides to call up a succubus, so he could get some action. He gets more than he bargains for in more ways than one. He gets his succubus, but he does not plan to fall in love with her. Will he be able to free her from her sentence in hell?

This story attracted me because it was about succubus. I have had a fascination for that type of demon since shortly after starting to read paranormal romance. I have known many “you’re a nice guy but…” men in my lifetime and always wondered what it was about them that women seemed to look down upon. So, after reading Jordan’s plight, I was amused when he decided that calling up a succubus was the answer to all his problems. And of course, as is always the way in these types of stories, nothing is quite as he expects. But it makes for a fun plot and an enjoyable read on a summer afternoon. The hijinks that occur when Jordan calls the succubus had me laughing out loud. The chemistry between the two characters is steamy and very well written. If you’re looking for a quick and cute read to enjoy when you are laying out in the sunshine, then this might be a good short story to add to your summer reading list.

The sad part is the size, a shame it's so short. The story of Hades and Persephone is beatiful, I love that myth.
It was a fun and sweet read anyway!
